Nothing to be agreed
The pictures of the property are not fit with the property, there is nothing like that, for example the "studio +tv+fridge +microwave" is not a studio bigg attico as in description...it is just a room under roof where isn't hitting, no fridge in the room, to many things in the room so no space to stay erect in the legs. The entrance is trough a hole in the middle of the room and the access is trough a small ladder.
Also the beds are not comfortable.
The bathroom is in the first floor for all the rooms.

The attic was very comfortable and felt like we were in our own area of the house. Tea and coffee making facilities and easy access to the shared bathroom. Host was welcoming.

Christine, the owner, made me feel at home and welcome. She tried to help me with everything I need, very nice lady.
Nothing in particular

Great host who was very helpful. Clean and had everything we needed
The steep stairs to the bed

Nice location, clean room ,friendly host
No water in the kettle and no sink in room also no milk provided to make tea/coffee and a shared bathroom so not ideal also we were in the attic so considering im 5.8 and my partner is over 6ft it wasn't the most comfortable trying to get dressed constantly having to stoop ,stairs down to the 2nd floor extremely steep and no hand rail ,there is a "safety barrier "provided around the hatch which was unsafe as its not fixed and when coming up the stairs I grabbed hold of it to steady myself when getting to the top it moved and I nearly fell backwards back down the hatch it's a good thing my partner was behind me to make sure I didn't fall I hurt my arm on the safety barrier so wasn't entirely happy ,we've stayed here for 3 years running but after this experience we unfortunately won't be staying again .

Very handy for town centre, racecourse and zoo. Quiet area and other residents in house were quiet and respectful. Helpful and friendly host downstairs providing information as required.
Stairs are very steep into the attic and headroom is very limited. Alot of clutter in room which I felt was unnecessary and could be removed. Electrical items in room are on several extension cables which is probably not ideal from a safety perspective, but didn't spoil our stay.

Christine was very friendly and welcoming. She gave me a free upgrade, which was a welcome surprise. She looked after me extremely well and made sure that my needs were met. The shower was beyond adequate and my room had all the facilities to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
No complaints!

It was a really cozy room, we loved the view from upstairs, especially at night. The room had all the facilities. This is one of the cutest accommodations I have ever been to. The host was really sweet.

We will definitely stay again.

40 minute walk to Chester town centre and only 5 minute drive from Chester Zoo.
Although I received a message from the proprietor whilst I was driving to the venue, when I arrived, I knocked and rang the bell to no avail. Phone number on site was turned off, so I messaged without reply. Turns out owners were in.
Accommodation was an attic room in a semi-detached property. Room was accessed via permanent stairs, it was crowded and cluttered, just like rest of the property. There were numerous electrical devices (at least 9), all plugged into just 2 extension leads including a portable grill and microwave. There was no obvious fire prevention.
Furniture was “individual”, double bed was directly on the floor (no legs). To secure the room a door had to be lowered from the inside - when vacated my belongings were openly accessible. Two velux windows provided natural light; only one had a usable blind.
Biggest problem was there was a strong damp odour; the sort you get when camping in the wet for several days.
Access to the room was via a hall and stairways that were cluttered with clothes, bed linen, mattresses hanging from doors and banisters. It was impossible to reach the room without brushing or bumping into them.

no heating !

Quiet and correct location
If I had to grumble the attic stairs was a nuisance . But I had just don the chester marathon.

Absolutely lovely host. So kind and chatty and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. The room was absolutely beautiful

the landlady was lovely when we met her. let us put our bag in the room as we was too early to check in
we found the steep stairs very dangerous. the room was very cramped. we was not too pleased that the family cat was lying on our bed when we arrived back. i am allergic to cats so i was itching all night and could not sleep in the bed. the hot water tap in the bathroom could not be turned on. even my husband could not manage to do it. could not wait for it to come light to get home. left at 7.am. will not be staying again.

The peace and quite, and the comfortable bed.

Friendly and welcoming. Gave us a lift into town. Stayed in a downstairs room and offered us a wine.
I guess it was fine. We had our own entrance. Location not too far from the city centre. Taxi back wasn't too dear too. Had no problem with us leaving very early next day.
3.4
Almost everything, clean comfortable, plenty of amenities and very friendly host
Stairs to room are very steep and could do with a handrail fitted.
3.4
Nothing, we did not stay as it was so bad, even though the host put us down as a no show.
The room and the house. No signage. Massive dog. Room so tiny I was unable to stand upright even in the centre, I'm only 5 foot! Stairs virtually vertical and so narrow. No door only a loft hatch. Bed under the eaves with no space to even sit up. Due to stairs and loft hatch would have been a death trap in case of fire. No fire alarms. This was a crawl space and not a room.
3.4
The kettle worked. Morrisons was nearby.
Potentially dangerous stairs and hatch entrance to room. Shower cubicle in bad repair. TV difficult to work. Inadequate headroom in room. Window blinds broken.
3.4
Easy to walk to from Bache station. Quite location. Bed was very comfy. Drinks in room. Nice dressing gown. Host was friendly and helpful, gave us an early morning lift into chester. Thank you!
Shared bathroom, room small due to lots of furniture and bit cluttered.. (Didn't have the attic room) Fine for my 1 night stay.
3.4
We stayed in attic room, all we needed was provided (tea maker, microwave, toaster, fridge), very comfy beds, warm and cosy. I love all decors, it made me feel like in home. Christine very lovely warm welcome host, dog and cat very lovely.
3.4
Quirky room. Really liked the view out of the velux window across the roofs.
Having a microwave and fridge was really helpful.
The house is in a quiet part of chester but only a 25 minute walk (or very short train journey) from the town centre.
Pub, train stations, chippy and supermarket all very handy.
Chris was very welcoming and helpful.
Although there were a few other people staying there, it was quiet; and even though the bathroom was shared with 2 or 3 other rooms, I never had to wait to use it.
It was unusually cold overnight for April and there didn't seem to be any heating (though I would have asked Chris if I was staying longer).
Although I don't mind sharing the bathroom, its a bit of a palaver to get down to the toilet at night.
