Amazing stay
2.0
Staying for a few nights whilst my bathroom is being renovated. Excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Only issue was the shower, not particularly powerful and the temperature control was temperamental. But overall very satisfied and going to stay again for a few nights. Very convenient for work and home.

Stayed 2 nights, room was cleaned, happy with it.

All in all a comfortable stay. Not much space in the room but perhaps if I had paid for a superior room space would have been greater. My wife had an evening meal which she said the Moules frites were nice but that the sticky toffee pudding was a bit of a disaster. Good price for what was on offer.
2.5
Convenient hotel with great breakfast

Stay was good, service in the bar was ok, food was not nice. I had the mussels which was in a nice sauce but the mussels themselves were dry and tough, the ham and cheese toastie was dripping in grease and the pizza had far too much cheese on it so was greasy and soggy
2.5
Wonderful & friendly service! The location is perfect for easily and quickly traveling by bus to the tourist area of Edinburgh, without having to stay right in the middle of the crowds. Our room was clean and modern. There are plenty of outlets available, but bring your own adapters.
The breakfast was amazing, with so many options! We ate dinner there on two evenings. The food was fresh and delicious.
We would definitely stay here again!

It was a little hard finding it but worth it. Disappointed that cash payment not available for food and bar and very disappointed parking was not included, discount offered though. Clean room but the noise from two rooms was very disappointing. No we didn’t say anything. We just had an extra early morning.

loved the walkability to sites. loved the breakfast choices

Had some trouble getting situated as an out of country visitor, but that's understandable. All in all a fine stay.

The room was lovely and clean. I had a problem with the parking machine but the staff came over and helped me.
Breakfast was plentiful although I only had two slices of toast plus a coffee.
Well worth the visit.

This property is situated out of the city but is on a bus route which is very convenient.
Rooms very small but that seems to be all of UK & Europe, difficult to open luggage because of lack of space.
As a single traveller I managed but not sure how two people would get on.

We were given a disabled room/bathroom, I have no recollection of requesting that when I booked online. The room had a strange smell which was like one of those candles people burn to hide tobacco smoke

It was ok

Chose a room with a city view. Really lovely view of the city. Added bonus was capturing a rainbow over the city on camera on our last evening. Conveniently located for the retail park. Good bus service into city centre.

Nice staff and great breakfast

Looks like a 70s office block but nicely fitted out inside and very helpful staff. View of the castle from our bedroom - polluted but that's Edinburgh for you ...

I booked two rooms. The first room was superb with two large beds. The second room had an awful smell - we dicussed this with the staff and they eventually moved us to another room with a sofa bed rather than a second bed.
I was staying with the two children in the first room. It was warm in the room so I put the air conditioning on when we went to bed. We had to switch it off as it was making an awful noise. The safety latch was also broken on the door.
Breakfast was good and staff in the restaurant were lovely.

Comfortable, clean, good location, good breakfast included.

Had a great view ! A bit small tv didn’t show but 5channels every other day, but over all very good.

Helpful staff, good breakfast. Easy bus connection to the center of Edinburgh. Some glitches: inside of teapot was disgusting. Room could use a second chair, so we could share a meal. We waited over 1 hour for simple order of fish and chips.

Very expensive, dirty and smelly rooms, no safe boxes, only 1 large towel and 1 small towel, the breakfast doesn't have cheese, dirty carpets

OMG, where to begin...?
First of all, the hotel room is clean, in good condition and with a comfortable bed. It gets the job done.
The location is bad. We thought we had a good idea choosing this to get to the airport early but that was a miss. If you want to go by public transportation you have to go in to city centre and continue from there. Only way to the airport is by taxi (circa 30-35 pounds).
The worst thing is the breakfast. Basically everything is from the freezer, warmed up and bad tasting. Hot food is not warm enough. I actually started googling how to alert municipality on the bad food handling suspecting I could get sick eating this. After refusing to eat bad food, there was only toast and preserves left for me. And really bad tasting coffee...
Two persons, one night paid 300 punds for this! Absolutely no value for money, will never come here again.

Staff is courtesy and location is not that far from central.

Nice quiet property on good location
1.5
Upon arrival the room was hot and stuffy (24C). No windows to open and aircon not working. Difficult to sleep and a really stale smell. There was a big stain on the carpet and the paint was peeling around the sealed windows. Very expensive for what we paid. The only redeeming features were the comfortable beds, nice shower and excellent breakfast

Reception fantastic. Roomy room, good Wifi for a change. Bit remote from Edinburgh.

This hotel is nice to stay in, breakfast was included with a good variety of food to eat

It's a busy season so I don't complain a lot. The rooms are too small without any extra facilities like fridge or safe or coffee machine.
3.0
It might only be 1.5 miles away from the heart of town but it’s 20 minutes by taxi. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel but had I known I would have stayed much closer.
3.0
It was not bad but I don’t like it because going to city center with taxi cost me too much money and bus was very limited and takes too much time.at my room light bulbs didn’t work and after 4 days finally no one change it. As a whole I don’t go back there next time . I didn’t like it.

Easy bus ride to Princes St, Edinburgh. Close to shopping mall with Pharmacy, reasonable eating options. Reasonably close to airport. Quiet neighbourhood. Staff at front desk, breakfast area and bar were very friendly and helpful.
