Would highly recommend. Super place to stay.

Excellent breakfast. Good service. Location was great for us as close to A1. Very comfy bed and room was very spacious. Good shower.

Fantastic as always

3rd year visiting The Blue Bell and we cannot recommend it enough, the staff are wonderful and the food is delicious. The room we normally choose wasn't available when booking but we were pleasantly supposed with the size of the room we had and in fact preferred it more.

Very weird drainage going on as the water from the bathroom tap was like milk and there's clearly been a leak as the skirting were quite mouldy.

Excellent! Perfect gift for my parents!

I booked this for my parents Anniversary and they was very happy with everything and had a lovely time. On calling to book their meal and buy gift vouchers and then again to pay for their room before they arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. My parents said that the accommodation, restaurant, evening meal, breakfast and staff were all fabulous!

Lovely accommodation and restaurant, all very welcoming

Beautifully presented accommodation. Spacious, very clean, comfortable bed & good tea/coffee making facilities. Booked for evening meal, which also did not disappoint, would definitely recommend.

loved every aspect of my stay over even with fire alarms going off ( false alarm)at 2:25 am! all handled well and no pro

everything! warm cosy atmosphere , lovely helpful staff.

finding the place haha, sat nav insisted it was at a local quarry 3 times!

Brilliant. Can’t wait to go back

we were made to feel very welcome from the minute we walked through the door. I have never been anywhere where the staff are so attentive and friendly. John was amazing. He made you feel like a friend. The food was excellent. Hats off to the chef and a special thank you for the “birthday plate”

You wont be dissapionted

Everywhere was emmaculatly clean. It was so cosy and relaxing and quiet. The staff were brilliant and lovely. The meal was beautiful especially the pork square starter 😋. Ohh the black pudding on the breakfast was something else. 👌.. Its the best place we have stayed in in a long time by far. There was no exspence spared from the food to the furniture decor. Wished we could have had another night there the bed was huge and so compy everything 100%thankyou for making our stay loveiy.. 😊

Well its hard to find anything but if i had to say it prob would be the shower cubicle was a tidge smaller thn im used to. The tele could have been slightly larger for the distance it was away from the bed.. And there was a beautiful open fire in the pub it would have topped it off if it would have been lit at night while we were sat on the comfy sofas

We really enjoyed our stay it was our 45th wedding anniversary.we didn’t realise you had to ask for

The breakfast was nice with a good choice a croissant would have been better for myself after a cooked breakfast

A hot drinks refill would have been nice one hot drink isn’t enough.

Ok place to stay

The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was big and had bath and shower. The food was nice but a little overpriced. Parking was easy.

The only daylight was from a skylight in the middle of the room but you couldn't open it with the pole provided. There was another window but it was blocked off by a large chest of drawers because other customers would have been able to look in. Rather weird set up really. The staff were polite and courteous but seemed to lack motivation which I blame the management for. Alex was the exception as he was always smiling.

The best place to stay in North Yorkshire.

On arrival very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodations and welcome from all the staff we met. My wife has a serious medical condition but everyone went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect for her. The chef was very accommodating to alter meals to meet her requirements.

There was nothing not to like. The location was perfect. The room was a very good size. The food was excellent. The staff were welcoming and accommodating to all our needs. And the beer was great! So to repeat, nothing not to like.

Pub great just need more staff

Room was lovely and spacious and very clean, pub was really nice

The staffing levels at the pub were bad the staff that were working were great but we had to wait for over an hour on the second morning for our breakfast as the chef hadn’t turned up. The meal we had in the evening mine was okay but my partners pie was very very dry, if they can employ more staff the pub would be excellent

Great, small pub/hotel will definitely book again when next in the area.

The breakfast was very good, especially the smoked salmon.

The shower was a small quadrant unit with an overhead shower head which meant there was not enough room to avoid the water when in the shower cubicle e.g. when setting the temperature or washing your hair.
