Lovely clean airy building in great setting, tastefully decorated and furnished. Co-op next door.
Some clarity about where to park would be helpful; various neighbours asked us to move further up or down (at all times immediately outside the building, not outside anyone else's property)...moved the 2 smallish cars 3 times altogether. The velux window over downstairs bedroom really needs a blind - very bright 4am onwards. The photo of outside area w bottle of wine in sunshine is misleading as no afternoon/evening sun in June. Someone must have been having breakfast wine....

Comfy bed and sofa
Well equipped kitchen but could not find any dishwasher tablets
No blind in bedroom skylight so awake at dawn

Excellent location for what we wanted. Plenty of room to lounge around when we needed to rest up.
The second bedroom was a poor design, could easily have had a double bed

Quiet but central location, only a short walk to the market place, the Black Sheep Brewery and behind a well-stocked Co-op. Warm, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated; peaceful to sit with a cuppa or a glass of your preferred tipple at the end of a day exploring this stunning area. I drove in a circle, more than once, looking for the road in as the only 'road' in looked more like a traffic-free lane, beginning narrow and narrowing further at one point before opening out to a sort of courtyard area, where there is plenty room to park outside the cottage; I was pleased I don't drive a larger car, and I turned my car round so I was parked pointing toward the way out, in case anyone parked without thought and made it difficult for me when I needed to leave (no-one did). That said, this wouldn't put me off staying here again, now I know the layout, as the cottage is so close to everything while being tucked away. All cutlery, towels, etc you need are provided but be aware you will need your own shampoo etc and coffee etc. There wasn't an information file that I could find but everything is straightforward. Loved the under floor heating in the spacious wet room, a real treat, and appreciated the big comfy sofa, often lacking in holiday rentals, and the bowl of chocolates - thank you! This is a lovely cottage.
A tiny thing - this is the first time in a very long time I have arrived somewhere without complementary shampoo etc. This would not put be off returning to this lovely cottage but I was caught without simply because I have become used to not having to pack shampoo and shower wash with me. This information is likely provided in the details on Booking.com but if it is, it obviously didn't register with me it because I'm used to them being provided, but I know for next time.

The barn was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with quality furnishings and fittings.
I have no complaints!

Fabulous location right in the heart of the village. Short stroll to the many pubs and restaurants. Spotlessly clean - even in the corners! Good quality furnishings. Very helpful owner. Would definite stay again.

Very convenient for Brewery tour. Clean and comfortable. Brilliant for parking. Coop behind very useful.
Masham is a lovely little town.
Pillows were a bit hard.

No blind on the Velux window in the bedroom .

Lovely clean and spacious cottage, conveniently situated behind a decent sized Co-op. Would highly recommend staying here.
An information pack with recommended local eateries and take aways would be nice.

Only problem was the key code I was sent was wrong so had to phone to get it sorted

Excellent location. Within easy walk g distance of the 3 pubs and.the Theakston Brewery. (I would advice booking a table at one of the pubs if you want to eat out). Very well equipped especially the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent place for a family of 4.
The outside space is rather small and not suitable for enjoying outside dining/lounging. Probably why there is no bbq.

Cottage was beautiful and spacious. This cottage had everything you could ever need and more. Very nicely decorated and very clean Great location for Masham town centre and walking to pubs and brewery. Theaksons just thru the alley and a coop just to the side which was very convenient. We will definitely be back!!
Parking was a bit tight and getting to the cottage was down a very narrow lane. Anything bigger than an average family car would struggle.
This is not a complaint as it didn't bother us and was quite funny but some people may not like it but on first night we found a little cat wandering round the hall way and 2nd morning my husband had a bit of a fright as another little cat woke him as it was climbing into bed with him. Guess its due to us having windows open as it was very warm!! Maybe a fan, there was literally everything else but not a fan.

We had a lovely stay at Setch Barn. It was lovely to come back to a warm, cosy house after being out in the storm.,
A note would be useful on arrival to explain a few things about the property.
4.7
Perfect location. We walked everywhere.
The single beds were very short and the upstairs bedroom could do with a door to block out noise from the living room/kitchen.
4.7
Location, location, location!! It was a central location handy for all local attractions and perfectly located to travel in the Dales
The property was spotless, warm and had all the facilities you need.
Everything was perfect. One thing was that it was a little hot and took some time to cool down. However, I would rather this than being cold!

Location! Airy and spacious. Good dvd options. Cafetière.
Bit light for getting to sleep. Sockets in kitchen tricky to ID!

Very clean and comfortable. Owner very helpful.
Second bedroom small with no storage drawers.
