The location and staff

The room

Location was in the city center, very accessible to shops and restaurants. The owner, with her sister, were very friendly and accommodating. You can just approach them anytime for questions, they're there 24/7. Owner also upgraded our room, which was bigger than what we booked. Bathroom sink and shower has heater which were really important as we went on January during Hanoi's winter season. Owner offered us a car service which price was lot affordable than Grab, from their hotel to airport.

We got option to choose rooms, either second floor or fourth floor which we had to go by stairs only, and the deciding factor was fourth floor being bigger and having balcony, but there wasn't available view on the balcony as it was facing a wall of another building, and as having low stamina it's a bit difficult to climb a lot of stairs to reach this room. Water flow on the bidet was really low, but enough for the water at sink and shower. Bathroom was a bit small though. Room heater (from air-conditioner) wasn't enough especially during their winter season. There was this creepy corner near the cabinet, I just feel weird chills whenever I walk there 😳 sorry.

Really nice Hotel to stay in old quarter, the location is really nice. The owner is a very nice lady, the first night we arrived late and she was looking for us in the street. She gave us fruits every day and it was a pleasure to talk with her. She answers any question we had. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade of the room so we had a big room for a good price !! The room was spacious, clean and confortable. We recommend this hotel during your stay in Hanoi !! ☺️

מקום מעולה, מיקום נוח וטוב, מנהלת במקום נחמדה מאוד ומשדרת נוחות לפנות אליה, חברותית ומקסימה. המקום עצמו ממש נוח, אבל יש לשים לב שהמקום נמצא בסמוך לכנסייה לכן מידי פעם יש פעמון העושה רעש אך חוץ מזה מקום מעולה

The staff is super, the ladies were super cool , I recommend.

Room is at 3rd floor with no lift facility In my 6 days stay there was no room cleaning done Wall papers were worn out in many areas giving a unpleasant look Aircondition seems to be not working even though its very cold and no need for it There are spider webs all around the wall Bathroom is small No Kettle, cofee/tea sachets

L'État des chambres, catastrophique, rien à voir avec les photos. Affreux, j'étais dans une annexe de l' hotel, quatre étages par un escalier limite dangereux. Pas de réception, le papier des murs déchiré et sale, sanitaires lamentables. Aucun équipement. De la bouffe ancienne dans le minuscule frigo plus des canettes entamées. Bref, à part l' emplacement, très bien, sinon endroit qui n a d hotel que le nom. A fuir. J'ai trouvé un autre hotel, pour le même prix, dans le même quartier, un véritable palace en comparaison.

Super właścicielka, pomocna i miła. Mieliśmy problem z ciepłą wodą zareagowała błyskawicznie i za godzinkę woda była. Na lobby zostawia pyszne banany z czego skorzystaliśmy 😀 Blisko pralnia ,pościel czysta, lodówka i klima dziala. Lokalizacja na wielki plus. Blisko market i circle.

Nie jest to tak nowy pokój jak sugeruje zdjęcie.

Chỗ nghỉ thuận tiện, sạch sẽ, chị chủ rất nhiệt tình, thân thiện. Có gì cứ hỏi chị chủ đều được chị hướng dẫn tận tình. Giá phòng cũng hợp lý so với vị trí và mặt bằng chung.

Everything was excellent. The location was also perfect. My flight was very early, but the owner was very helpful and allowed me to check in.

The manger was so nice she went above and beyond to help with any enquiries and gave me some good recommendations , really made to feel welcome.

You get what you pay although the location is fantastic , the rooms are in need of some TLC and refurbishment

Room was infested, dirty, mould on the wall. Really not fit for people to sleep.

location commodities of the room clean room and comfortable bed the lady managing the hotel is really nice and helpful (good restaurant recommandations, taxi for the airport)

down a back alley so a bit hard to find had to call quite a few times to be let in despite having warned her we would arrive at 3am but only waited max 10 minutes so wasn’t too bad

we checked in to our room. and it was disgusting. cobwebs everywhere. mould everywhere. the wardrobe was broken. the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. it was a complete health hazard. we asked the lady if we could switch to a different room that was cleaner and she told us that it was cleaned that morning!!!!! therefore we checked out and moved to another place which was the same price and very nice! just for reference, we have been travelling for 3 months and this was by far our worst place we stayed!!! please see pictures attached at our room

The only pros is the location is great

I reserved a room at the Sophie Hotel for one night after extending my day, but I was transferred to Hanoi Home Hotel which is about 3 steps away from the other property. I checked in late at nine o'clock at night, the front desk let me check in outside the building, which contains three laundry machines on the main floor. The shower hose is linked to the faucet in my Room 302 (no LIFT) with two connectors. Right side for face washing and left side for the shower hose. I was unable to leave to complain because it was too late, and I had an early flight. I took a bath using brushing glass. I have support photos. I went down at 5:45am because my airport service will pick me up at 6:00am. The property was LOCKED with a CHAIN and PADLOCK, so I am unable to leave. As the taxi would arrive at 6:00am and neither property had a front desk, I was anxious and stressed about how I could leave. I started making noise, and when the restaurant employee heard me (from the next property), she called the front desk. The front desk unlocked the gate, I video her and said, "This is “DANGEROUS for all of us here, your guests are UNAWARE that you have LOCKED UP. I'm looking where to file a complaint against this malpractice, and I will attach a video and photos as support. I don't understand why they gave this hotel such a great rating. The comb is out of the toiletry package appears to have been used previously. The toothbrush was marked on the package SPLENDID BOUTIQUE HOTEL. No hair dryer.

The room I stayed in was clean, big and super cosy. I can recommend this hotel! It's location is also very good!
