On check in got “upgraded” to a very dated villa. Found a used napkin next to the bed after I had already spent two nights there (totally unacceptable), obviously housekeeping not at their best! House keeping staff did not spray a fragrance in the room after “cleaning” and left their own odour lingering in the room.
Got moved to a different room after finding the used tissue. Was offered free breakfast, which was not relayed to breakfast team causing further inconvenience.
Breakfast staff member was coughing over the food whilst he was cleaning the serving spoons. Absolutely not acceptable, please maintain a basic hygiene level!! Guest eat the food you just coughed over!
Front security team failed to organise buggy service on asking twice, so walked instead.
Friendliest of staff was Tarsem in the front of house team welcoming and departing guests. Did exactly what he said he would.
Overall 2* only because the final nights room was nicer then the villa. Otherwise this is a very substandard run property. Most staff members need training of what 5* service should be.

We had a wonderful experience at the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi. I would like to express my gratitude, particularly to the housekeeping team, for their thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing design, which included fresh petals on the bed and a cake for the birthday celebration. Additionally, I would like to acknowledge the exceptional assistance provided by Salman from the concierge team. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the service was prompt and courteous throughout.

Would not bother looking at any other hotel in Abu Dhabi, just book the Ritz - Carlton Grand Canal with club lounge, you won’t regret it!

The hotel is beautiful with a glamorous lobby and cozy room. Bathroom is clean and spacious. Huge pool and beach. Nothing to complain. The only thing we didn't like is the location. There is nothing within walking distance.

Suite tatty, absurdly small wardrobe and in poor condition - TV not working bath controls fel off and room stunk of stale alcohol

The staff was beyond curtious. They always opened the doors, Uber doors too, with a smile!
Refreshing cold towel and drink upon arrival. Pool was beautiful. And very close to the grand mosque. Hot to walk during the day. But doable once the sun goes down!

Great hotel for the Grand Mosque but not a lot more within walking distance. Staff went over and beyond to help with anything. Would have liked a room overlooking the mosque as I had asked for a good room but ours looked over the pool and gardens which was still nice

Awesome stay in Ritz Carlton, we were celebrating our first anniversary and they made it really amazing. The personnel, the services, the food were all perfect. Restaurants are really good and kudos for restaurant the forge!

I liked everything about it. The sheer luxury. The staff make you feel like a VIP. They remember your name and make you feel special. The food was fabulous. The staff go the extra mile with everything. Salman was excellent. The reception staff on the morning of Sunday the 13th went above the call of duty to help us. It is greatly appreciated. The tall kind gentleman was excellent - I forget his name - well done

Really expensive for the rather outdated and tired rooms on offer.
I cut my losses quite quickly and left after a few hours.
