Good location clean apartment needs updating

Very nice place to stay :)

We had a great stay at Checkin Bungalows. The Property was clean, it had 3 pools spread across the site and the entertainment was fun in the evening. I have seen some negative reviews, but our experience was great. I think if you have children it would be a good affordable option, as there is also a football pitch and basketball court. There are some paid pool and air hockey tables also. We went half board and the food was hot and fresh, it is three star so the food can be a bit basic such as chips, pizza, ice cream, but there is some alternative varied options as well. We did eat there every day, but you may want to mix it up and go out for dinner (they let you swap dinner for lunch, if you speak to them!) all the staff were really friendly, I found it to be a good location (some hotels are really far up a hill!). I would definitely come back. The only reason I didn’t give 5 star was because our room didn’t have air conditioning.

There was one receptionist who was not at all helpful and was in the wrong job. Whatever you asked she argued for something else. The rest of the staff were fine. Depending where your accommodation is,there can be a lot of steep stairs that are not at all easy with a suitcase. It was clean, comfortable and where we were quiet. Nearer to the bar was noisy. In a good location for the resort.

I always put the no clean sign on the door . there were none so the made my bed and garbage while on excursion . im not going to complain about that so very clean and nice place with a freat buffe and close to the beach

The room was spacious as was the balcony. However the bathroom snd kitchen units require modification. Staff on reception were very helpful.

Property was really bad , on arrival staff were rude , room was not like advertised was old and dated loose tiles undermanaged simple , bathroom made room stink like a sewer . The smell was horrendous. Bathroom was very cramp and had like a tumble dryer in it as well no window no ventilation . Fist day at breakfast seemed ok and supper that day . We were half boarded . But then became very clear as days went on there was no choice and nothing for children at all so beware . Food was of bad standard cheap if the cheap bland and disgusting the only thing I can say was ok was the toast but they never made that . The swimming pools had missing tiles that they never even attempted to replace . If u want council then this is the place for you not fit for purpose . After reading this be very warned it’s no joke u will be very disappointed , better accommodation at same price . Shame on u check-in bungalows poor poor quality and can I just add not enough tables in restaurant but u can dine in the entertainment area which is bad bad not even grout between tiles and they give u plastic garden furniture to dine with stay clear

Amazing location and good food 😄👌

2nd visit in the last 3 months, this time brought family along. Improvements are being made to the resort where it is a bit dated. Safety for COVID is very high & staff very friendly/heloful. Location is great, close to beach, restaurants & bars. Will come back again as soon as I can.

Very disappointing !!No air-con .... wardrobe smelt of urine and major building work going on !

Staff were very friendly and polite. Hotel was nice and clean only downside was lack of food for children on evening buffet. But this would not stop us returning

Hotel was OK for the price, entertainment was poor,staff were great, food OK but similar every day, ended up going out most of the time, for the price we paid this was acceptable but beware hotel is a bit of a building site, one pool was shut 3 days not that you wanted to lie by there with the sounds of jackhammers going off and building work all week

An OK Hotel and the overall maintenace is OK, except for the reception. Quiet area and fresh spaces between the buildings. The apartment is big enough for 3 pax. However the sleeping bed is not comfortable at all. The bathroom was recently re-furbished and looked modern. In the kitchen you have to buy everything for dish-washing. This is not expensive to buy, but should be included. Good house cleaning the two first days. After that, I think they forgot how to clean. WiFi yes, but quite unstable and slow. The breakfast (we only tried this one day) is not Worth the money. Dry bread, cocked bacon and scrambled eggs made of tasteless power. Thin coffe and different types of juice, tasting to much of something undescribable. Also the usual ham, cheese, marmelade etc.

The rooms were very good but your outside privacy was nonexistent

Had room on top floor at far end of property. Great view with large balcony for table and chairs and sun beds. It was very clean but needed a little updating which they are in the middle of. Great location

Could do with an update at least in the Apartment we stayed in. Breakfast adequate but could be of a higher standard. Excellent location.

The experience was very good. I would recommend it.

Trip was spoilt by the lock on the front door not working. Reported 5 times and 'fixed' 5 times. Not until the sixth occasion was it a permanent fix. I had to leave my front door unlocked when I went out during the day and on one occasion I had to put a table against the door when I went to sleep at night. Thankfully I paid to have a safe and had to lock all valuables away. I would expect some sort of refund for this service.

The apartment was in need of a makeover. It was very tired and shabby. A positive was that it was clean. The complex advertised a gym but that was closed. We were self catering and just used the apartment as a base so it didn’t really affect our time there. The location is good. If you want to spend a lot of time at the complex it may not be the place for you. I did think it was strange that the apartment had a washing machine but not a hair dryer.

Good hotel. Good food, Lots to choose. WiFi quite slow. Bathroom clean less horrible. Walls tiles looks like not been clean for years the same bath and taps ( lots of lime scale on ), need to clean before we start using the bath. Washing mashine in the bath ( very handy) but not hair dryer. On the balcony we had table with 4 chairs and 2 sun lounge !!!

The room wasn't that one we saw, payed and booked on internet. We had had beatles, old furnitures, no washing machine, no wireless (you can get it paying) There were 35 degrees every single day and night and no air condition inside the room. They cleaned every 2 days (that's fine) First night we had a waitress at the bar not really smiling and kind. But for the rest of the week all the staff was nice and available. Perhaps too fast to take back the plates during the dinner from the tables but apart that they were ok. Nice the people at the reception.

This is definitely a 2 star not a 3 star hotel. I fairness we only used it as a base to sleep which would have been fine if it was air conditioned. They only supply one fan which barely works and the nights were uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping on the sofa as that was the coolest room at night albeit not by much!! The location however Is great, it's based in a more residential area and beer and food at restaurants are good value. You can get a large beer for 1 euro but if you go up the coast a little it will cost you 3! The beach is just down the road but forget about the pools, you couldn't swing a cat in or around them. We did have one persistent cockroach friend but we put plasters over the sink over spills and that was the last of him. For the money you get what you pay for!

My daughter and myself stayed in Checkin Bungalows recently. We were very happy with our apartment. Very clean and rooms were cleaned regularly, linen and towels changed every other day. Location was very good, near to restaurants, beach and shops. Very quiet at night and still very convenient to everything. Staff were very nice. Would recommend. Value for money.

Total dispoiment as we where waken up by builders doing repairing roof works above our bungalow at 08:20 in the morning . Went to reception to ask why they organized the works while the accommodation was occupied and I was told that it is for my own benefit in case will be raining . I asked for a complaining procedure or at least to speak with someone in charge as the attitude of gentlemen from reception, Mr Andres was totally unprofessional but I was just talking to a concrete wall. I was told that the works will be completed in that day but surprise next day , same hour builders where back on top of our roof. I've contacted the hotel via email complaining about the issue and about the staff attitude but nobody bothered to respond to me. At the end we was told that we can get a different accommodation if we want but at any point we did not received not even a sorry for our inconvenience . It is a big shame as the complex is situated in a good location but rude attitude from Mr Andres ruined everything. As a plus our fridge was changed in the first day because was not working.

There was no air con and we had to rent fans and when checking out the receptionest was very rude we wont be goin back there again
