The staff was really friendly and nice to talk to. Shopping district was right at the doorstep with plenty of activities to do.

É perto de um mercado famoso de Nagoya, perto de restaurantes e lojas de conveniência, além de ter uma vizinhança muito alternativa e social! 2 minutos andando e você verá inúmeros templos lindos e muitos manekinekos gigantes! Se você vai para nagoya, EXPERIMENTE ESTE LOCAL!! (Não há barulho de fora na acomodação) Funcionários excelentes que falam bem inglês, colchões limpíssimos e macios, local muito limpo, chuveiro excelente, cozinha equipada. Não se preocupe se você é mulher e viaja sozinha, os quartos e os andares são separados por gênero, apenas os banheiros não (mas tudo é perfeitamente limpo) ☝️💕 além disso há trancas eletrônicas com senha. VOU VOLTAR!!! 🩷🙏🏻

Armários para mochilas e afins, eles tem cofres mas não muito grandes.

First of all, I love how friendly the staff are. Majority of them speaks English and they are really fun to have a chat with. They make you feel welcome and at home. They welcome us back and ask us how was out day. They are also really helpful and assisted me wholeheartedly for requests, particularly helping me find my lost item all the way in Tokyo. Second thing that I like is that the facility is also clean and well-maintained. The place is spotless and organized. Third, I also like the location as it is just situated in the Osu Shopping strip and is 8-10mins walk to the subway stations.

Nothing! My stay in Trip & Sleep Hostel is perfect! 😊 I will definitely choose to stay here again when I come back to Nagoya! 😊

メガネをかけた男性の従業員さんが受付をして下さったのだが、以前利用したことを覚えていてくださって、名前も言ってないのに顔を見て「○さんですね」と言ってくださった事が、驚くほど嬉しかった。

The staff were absolutely lovely and spoke perfect English and Japanese. The beds were so comfortable and rooms were a good size. Nice showers and air con/heaters in each room. Great location in the ose district but quiet at night time. Great hostel, would reccomend 100%

Only thing to note is that renting a towel is 100yen.

Trip & Sleep was overall quite a good hostel. Nagoya was mostly a quick stop over for me so I didn`t explore the sites too much, but the castle was in walking distance (40 minutes, flat). But the district around the hostel kept me quite occupied, as it was right next to several shopping streets full of food and vintage clothes stores, and there was a large shrine right nearby. The hostel had some good food recommendations and information on the area. Dorms were simple but good. Common area was well set up and there were generally a couple people eating and relaxing.

Only one floor had shower rooms, I think 8 showers, mixed gender, for use of the whole hostel (4 floors?). Each floor had two toilets, with the common Japanese set up of a sink combined in the toilet design. However this meant there was no sink/mirror facility for brushing teeth/doing hair and makeup etc., other than the busy shower rooms.

The staff Gio... is very accommodating and nice. The tatami experience. The silence. The location is very near shopping district and restaurants. Bus rides going to various spot is really near.

Everything was fine!

The room was clean and more than large enough. In fact it could have fitted 4 people. The hostel allows to store the luggage until 10 pm which was great for our day trip. It's worth highlighting that we left too early for check out (before 8 am) and were allowed to leave the luggage in the room and then it was savely stored by the staff. Check-in was uncomplicated and everything was explained.

The bathroom for all 3 floors had only 6 showers which can create some queuing during rush hours. The price to value in comparison to other hotels we visited before seems to be a bit off but that is true for all of Nagoya and not a particular problem of this hostel.

Very comfortable beds and spacious. Good location for finding food. Were able to leave bags during arrival and after check out.

Originally booked for for 10 days, but ended up extending it by one more day because i liked the place so much 😇 the staff is really helpful and nice to help with guiding/directions (even though i couldnt get to rent a caterico in the end since you need a jp number for that😭) the bed and bathroom etc were really clean too! I'd definitely come again if I return to Nagoya

The location is perfect for Osu and close to the arcade a little far to walk if you are only just arriving in Nagoya but if you can figure out the subway you will be fine

The bed blanket didn't quite fit the bed it was a little small and if you are tall you won't fit in the bed. Shared rooms are good or bad depending on the guests with no fault to the hostel

No storage to hang/store clothes inside the room

Rooms and bathroom were clean, everything is quite new. There's room for your bags in the dorms.

No real kitchen, just a sink and microwave. No way of cooking in the hostel. When you check out, you can only leave your bags at the hostel until noon. They also just kick you out at noon on your check out day. You can't stay in the communal area. Check out time at 10 am is also too early in my opinion.

It was conveniently located and cheap.
