The location was superb. Host met us to hand over keys promptly and was very helpful- showing us around the property and giving tips on Lisbon

the apartment is super center of the old town, very easy to get most of sites, the apartments is very clean and have most of the stuffs you need. the host was very friendly

the wifi in the bedrooms were very poor, recommend to add wifi extension so guests can use wifi in the bedroom as well

Miguel met us at the apartment to give us the the keys and run through what we needed to know. The Apartment is really nice and in a very good location for getting round the old town and making your way to the river. There is a small supermarket across the road which had all the essentials we needed. There were 4 of us staying for a sporting even and there was more than enough space for the 4 of us. The bathrooms were well stocked.

We struggled to work the heating and TV but other than that it was pretty much perfect

Tastefully furnished and cosy ambiance. Well equipped kitchen. Location is quite central to amenities and restaurants.

Wooden floors have some drawbacks, we had a noisy neighbour upstairs hence noise was quite loud especially if you have some people who tends to stomp on the floor. One night, woken up at 3am as they were packing their stuff!

The kitchen could have been better equipped, it's not really equipped for family cooking but we got by.

This property was a one of our top favourites. The location is absolutely ideal along Madalena - right in the busy, living centre and mere steps from the typical must-sees, yet quiet and private. Super clean, cool, lovely and spacious apartment. Highly recommend, would stay again.

The apartment was in easy reach of everywhere in central Lisbon, and it had some character. The property manager was very helpful too.

Handover of keys was by friendly Diogo who went through all the ins and outs of the accommodation as well as giving local information for eating/sight-seeing etc. The flat is very well located for public transport - bus/tram 15E for Belem (must for pastiche de nata at PASTÉIS DE BELÉM - we went 1st thing 9:30am and walked straight in, no queuing) and train for Sintra (go very early to avoid long queues for the National Palace of Pena). Short walking distance to supermarket (Pingo Doce) and numerous restaurants and attractions. Can thoroughly recommend the little local cafe directly opposite (Solar Da Madalena) for great coffee and Bifanas, and Chapito A Mesa (10mins walk - use the elevator!) for an evening meal on the terrace. Dept store Pollux (5mins walk) also has a fabulous restaurant on the 8th floor with great views. We also enjoyed the airbnb Lisbon's best flavors walking/eating tour with Ruthy & Marcio & Francisco. Had to be out of the flat for 11am and flight was not til later, so stored lugguage at lockers available at train station.

Fantastic location! Excellent hosts, Diogo was very informative and responsive. And lastly, the appartment was great; very large, comfortable, clean and beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was in a great location for all the major tourist spots and public transport routes. Wonderful history and character to the apartment. No problem to arrange a change of bed clothes at the last minute during our stay.

Wonderfully located apartment in the heart of Lisbon. All communications just around the corner, quite quiet at the same time. Beautifully decorated and designed. I lacked visible information about any additional costs. There are additional fees for arrivals after 22.00 as well as a rather high tourist tax.

I chose this apartment because of the great location, and the Portuguese decor. I was not disappointed. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, quiet and had everything I needed. We used the washing machine.

If I am staying 4 nights I would like 4 mornings worth of coffee to be provided. We tried to buy more and bought the wrong size.

The location was superb. Could not have been better. we were two couples who stayed a week and it was perfect that we could have a bathroom each. There was even a third bedroom, were I could put my husband if he snored! The beds were comfortable. The decor and lay out of the property was excellent, with great attention to details. We also liked that there was an elevator and that we got two sets of keys!

We had one big towel and one small towel each. That is a bit too little for 7 nights. There was a washing machine that we could have used to clean them, but we would have preferred an extra set. As with most older buildings the sound isolation could have been better. I was a little concerned that we had to pay a deposit of 350€ in case we destroyed something, That made us afraid of using certain items in fear of it being damaged. I mean nothing lasts forever and I think that breaking something out of normal tear and wear should not be payed by the casual guest. We found for example a small crack in one of their saucers and we were afraid they would think it was us. In one of the questions from a guest they said that they no longer demand deposits, but they did with us. They should either remove this from their questions or stop taking deposit.At the same time we know that some guests cannot be trusted, which creates a need of security for the owners of damage being paid. So as long as the deposit is being handled in a fair way I guess it is ok! AND it is very important to us to say that our negative comments were only minor issues compared to the great time we spent in Madalena City center for a whole week. The place was all in all a great place to stay, and the owners gave us a lot of great information and took great care of us! So go ahead and book. You will not regret it! I envy you and want to come back!

Everything about this apartment was perfect from the history to how it was decorated to the reception upon meeting the property owners. It is wonderfully decorated and in the heart of everything we would want to do along with a short walk from the train station.

A really nice apartment in great location. Very convenient for family stay - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and nicely equipped kitchen. Usually you don't have elevators in old buildings, but this apartment does.

If you are coming with car, it's not easy to find parking next to apartment entrance, but there's quite a big underground parking just few hundred meters away.

Right in the center of town, super clean and there’s everything you need to cook! Nice owner 😊

Everything was wonderful. The place is sparkling clean but the wardrobes were not. We loved everything about our stay and about the appartment. Location is superb and Lisbon is wonderful city. I recomend this place with all my heart.
