All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice The room was clean and comfortable Parking was easy, and free.

Only 2 teabags in the tray The room decor was quite dull, An injection of colour would lift it

Room was nice, the bed was comfy and the facilities were clean. The shower was good and the curtains meant we didnt wake up too early.

On booking.com it stated a Bath was an option however the actual result was that the bathroom had a shower only. The breakfast was a bit over priced for the quality of the fry up.

Friendly staff even got me warm milk for my 3 year old. Clean, great location close to restaurants and town centre.

Prob the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in for a long time.

The breakfast was superb but I wish it was inclusive of the payment for the room and not as an extra cost.

Normal meals served for dinner not just pizza or snacks on Christmas Day

Very clean. Lovely room. Staff v helpful and friendly. I have to eat gluten free as medical requirement, I travel a lot and most helpful staff in this regard.

Pleasant room bar the noise, staff were fine.

Noise coming from an extractor fan or similar kept me awake all night. Two minutes on, one minute off, repeated all night. I would have had a better night's sleep in my car. Spoke to the receptionist the next morning who took my details and said the hotel manager/deputy would call the next day. He did and apologised but only offered "points" or a free stay, as this was a one-off stay this was of no interest to me and I said I wanted a refund. He said he would have to talk to booking.com to arrange this, that was 4 days ago and I have heard nothing from him since.

Staff are fantastic

There are refurbishments going in and my initial room had bad plumbing problems. I was moved without hassle but was just a bit irritating. As I said before staff are fantastic

We were given an old outdated room, dirty in corner behind chair, the chair was broken, both curtain and net were hanging off rail, mold in corner of window, the bed was lumpy, dirty and peeling wall paper, carpet was very old and worn, bathroom very dated and very worn bath, bath plug was green, shower curtain hanging out rail, grubby tiles, rusty mirror. Thank god we only stayed one night, couldn’t wait to have a shower at my daughter’s student accommodation.

Good beds and friendly staff. Best English breakfast we had.

We were promised connecting rooms and when we arrived there, they were adjoining rooms. The man at the desk did not know that there was no connecting door between the rooms. Wifi was not available due to technical issues. The keycards were not responsive after a few uses so we have had to go to the desk for new ones several times. Hotel overall in need of renovation.
