Convenient with good staff

Stayed 1 night . Room was adequate for the purpose . Only is room from 10pm to 8am. Quiet. Good breakfast with good choice of food.

The hotel is central of Nottingham so the location couldn't have been better. It's clean and tidy and the pool was lovely the only thing I would say for a last minute stay was extremely over priced. I payed £400 for a last minute stay that was not worth the money and didn't even get breakfast included £15 on top for breakfast. I would stay here again if the price was better. Maximum I would pay for this hotel is £175 not worth anything more feel like I was robbed at £400

Front desk staff was not supportive and did not bother about my issues.

Not enough parking so ended up paying for it. Lady at entrance was very polite and understanding great customer service One nice thing would be bottle water or small fridge with drinks I didn't want to go out but due to getting in late had tap water as was tired so a couple of free bottles would make a massive difference

Not too pleased that I was put in a room facing the inner core, particularly given I paid for an upgraded room Quite disappointed about that Also - would have been nice to have a bottle of complementary water in the room Not particularly impressed. There are better hotels at a similar price in the vicinity

Went for a birthday trip, staff were rude and cold. Room wasn’t worth what we paid at all

It’s the second time I have stayed there. It is very convenient, parking opposite rooms are a good size. Sadly I had a very noisy couple arguing above me which was extremely annoying but when I rang the front desk at 4am they dealt with it very quickly

Travel with my family with small kid and elders, Staffs were helpful & Breakfast was fantastic.

We were upgraded to the presidential suite for £10 which was amazing! Wonderful room, great location, would definitely stay here again

The service was great, it was the room that let it down. Our room was like a corridor, we have had better rooms at the Hilton.

The shower head was leaking and the tissue box had not been replenished. Comfy bed, but can't say ill be back.

Great hotel in a very convenient location.

Our room was fantastic ( presidential suite ). Very clean and well laid out. The restaurant food was great although service was a little slow. Breakfast buffet fantastic. A bit noisy at night as it was the weekend. Pool facility and gym also very good and well maintained.

When they say compact double they mean it . Smallest room we have ever stayed in for the money .

Rooms are tiny- even though we had a deluxe room- manouvering atoubd the bed was a challenge!

•You have to pay to use the pool which is not advertised but in small print , should say next to ‘pool’ (charges apply) on the amenities list even the receptionist struggled to find the small print •Lift only goes to floor 5 we where on 6 , so then stairs and I have an injured knee so not great •room was clean and maid was lovely, best staff member we met •one side of the bed sloped so that side you didn’t sleep very well •found a £25 charge put on my credit card and told it will go back or /reimbursed in a week and shouldn’t go though ! , which I’ve never had with other hotel chains , yes you leave credit card details incase you run up costs , then that is charged to the card , but they are taking £25 for no reason to then send it back !!!!!! •did not find staff helpful

City centre location

Good stay, lovely stay. Front of house team and reception team very good

We had to replace few time The card to open the room as wasn’t working . Sometimes the room was cleaned later in the afternoon

Had a lovely stay. Would have given it all full stars but was actually really disappointed and shocked that, given the price of the hotel rooms, we still had to pay to go to the swimming pool located within the hotel. I even called up to confirm whether it was included or not and they confirmed it was. We went in twice with the kids so cost another £50ish just to enter the pool!!

Can’t get to the hotel by car and it wasn’t simple to find the multi-storey car park nearby. Very short walk though once you do find it. Lovely hotel, but Nottingham centre in that location was a bit scruffy and there were a lot of beggars, and people quite obviously in drugs. A bit unfair to have it impact on the otherwise excellent hotel, but some folks might be put off.

Surprisingly this hotel has very small rooms, on a like for like with every other hotel I’ve stayed at (king size standard). I’ve stayed at a lot and this was the smallest by far. There’s also no desk/chair and in the shower, you need to stand at an angle to wash. The worst thing, there’s no sound proofing, so you hear everything in the adjacent rooms. I was unfortunate for one night, that I had teenagers partying all night/morning. I was moved to another room, which was just as small, but in a quiet part of the hotel, although I could still hear the guest above me, I don’t think any rooms here are soundproofed. Both rooms I stayed in only ever had luke warm to cold water, and I could not adjust the heating in the second room; reception needed to do this from their end, not ideal. Also the bedding was very cheap/budget; there were holes and a few minor staines on the duvet cover and it was a very thin duvet, (I stayed in the winter). The gym was adequate and breakfast was nice, other than having to pick up four dirty cups before I found a clean one. I wouldn’t stay again, as the rooms were very basic and small, definitely a budget hotel, good for cheap social accommodation over a weekend, definitely not for business traveler's.

Service was great - room not so much. Tiny box room set off into a corner, only daylight window was looked out over a 6ft atrium with a corridor window directly opposite so zero privacy and didn’t feel comfortable having the curtains open. Felt like a linen closet turned into a room! Only room for one bedside cabinet as there was only a foot between the bed and the wall… no chairs or space for your stuff.

Second time staying there. Good check in service and friendly enough staff. Mine gripe is A I ordered a pint of becks and there were two dead flies in the bottom of the glass B the second time I’ve stayed here and the room was way too small. When you stay away you want somewhere nice to sleep and staying at the Hilton you would expect something a bit more upmarket. Won’t be staying again and price was also not value for money.
