The apartment was absolutely stunning, with all of the historic walls and stained glass around the doors. We were a family of 6 and did not feel cramped at all. Nuno was very responsive and was helpful in determining activities as well as restaurants. The air conditioning was the best we had in Portugal. We would highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

This apartment is super cozy in feel, with open kitchen/living room area for morning coffee and evening wine. The kitchen is very user friendly. The owners were very helpful and easy to get hold of. This unit is a five minute walk to Santa Apalonia train/bus/metro station. We could get anywhere we needed to thru that train station. The location is charming, right in the Alfama district. Beautiful and comfortable apartment in a great location! Easy to walk to various places or catch the hop on hop off bus. Lots of local places to eat very close to the apartment. The owners are friendly and so accommodating! Thank you for a lovely stay!!

The location was great for some things, not so great for others, but if you want to stay in the narrow streets and walk to the overlooks, this is not a bad spot. On a very quiet back street, except when the neighbors go in and out the big door and up the steps. We felt safe at all hours. You have to walk a few hundred steps to get Uber, but a taxi can come closer. Easy walk from the train station, but right up the hill from the cruise ships, so the streets get more crowded when they show up. Do NOT ride in a TUK TUK.

We enjoyed our stay here enormously the apartment was very clearly and accurately described and communication was very friendly and informative. The location is excellent for visiting Alfama with good connections to other areas, near to food supermarkets bars and cafes.

We stayed there for three nights. The apartment is very nice and clean, location is good and the owners are very helpful. We had a great time and will visit again soon.

Very authentic property, although you had to mind your head upstairs 🙃; well equiped; welcoming bottle of wine & nibbles. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful, telling us where to go etc. Great location for exploring with good transport links.

This is more then a place to rest your head; it’s an experience! Distinctly unique from any other place we stayed on our trip, the apartment was also thoughtfully equipped by the owners with the comfort of the guest in mind. Nestled in the heart of Lisbon, we were steps away from festivals, markets, restaurants and historical sites. Most importantly, the owners thoughtfully prepared a comprehensive package outlining all of the transit routes, restaurant ratings and attraction suggestions. Would highly recommend to any traveller!!

We stayed in Lisbon for 6 days during our family holiday and we truly had the best time ever!! Not only is Lisbon a great city to visit but the apartment was also above our expectations and even though I've travelled a lot, I've never experienced such a good service before! I highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back here in the future!!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé votre très belle ville.Les habitants semblent parfois exaspérés par cette foule de touristes , mais en fait pas du tout, il suffisait juste de parler avec eux pour se rendre compte qu'ils étaient charmants et prêts à parler français s'il maitrisait notre langue. Je voudrais juste vous signaler que la vétusté des fenêtres et des volets qui ferment mal et la situation en rez de jardin , nous ont beaucoup inquiété ( peur des vols) , et je crois qu'il est important pour vos futures locations d'y penser. La connexion internet était défectueuse et de nos jours nous ne pouvons nous passer de cet outil. Merci pour votre accueil tardif ( retard avion) votre carnet d'adresse et d'astuce de voyage et votre disponibilité. Un endroit magnifique idéalement situé dans le quartier de l'Alfama et permettant d'accéder rapidement à tous les quartiers de Lisbonne. Nous avons en outre été accueilli par une équipe très gentille et très professionnelle. Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir !

The only problem was humidity that was damaging the floor and no windows in the rooms . But appartment is charming and very well located.

By no means this apartment is very special. The location in the Alfama is great and the surroundings ideal for evening walk-outs enjoying the Lisbon authentic life. The apartment is newly renovated and the people responsible for decoration did a fabulous job. There are many things to explore just by sitting and looking around. Beside preserving the old, the kitchen is modernly equiped with what you need for living. The overall feeling is very cosy. Fatima welcomed us and informed the family about all facilities, restaurants and points of interest in the vincinity with enthusiasm. One had to get used to the fact that there is only one window facing the front yard which can be opend to have fresh air getting in (the pictures don't show this). You won't see the sky from the apartment. In addition, all sleeping and bathrooms are without a window which is cosy but also not expected from the pictures. Air in the rooms can get a bit musty after a warm night. The first floor is just 1.80m from floor to ceiling, we overlooked this information. In summary: great place and location, nicely and individually decorated, cosy for those who are not open window maniacs. For a family of four it was perfect regarding space for more people it could get crowdy. Price range seems rather high.
