Francesco at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly.
The only thing that I was disappointed about was that the refrigerators do not work in the rooms. They do allow you to store drinks in the main kitchen refrigerator, though.

Some of the information given by Hotels.com beforehand was inaccurate. There is no Airport transfer, in fact when I door to Hotels.com, he didn’t know what this meant. The staff do no speak English, with the exception of one man who works 2 evenings per week. There is no in room massage. Staff tried to be helpful, location was good, housekeeping good and breakfast staff helpful, if the offering is a bit basic and repetitive.

This a small, unassuming Hotel, basic but good, very well located, close to the subway and lots of Dining options near by. The coffee at breakfast can be better and the hairdryer in my room never worked. The best part is the staff which is always friendly and helpful.

Very good experience overall. The hotel was well located, all the basic needs were covered: location, cleanliness, a good breakfast. Hotel staff and cleaning staff very friendly. The only exception was the receptionist, a very rude young woman with blond hair, who answered our basic questions without any kindness or good disposition towards us the guests. That was the only drawback. I don't think that person is trained or prepared to deal with the public, it detracts from the good experience we had in the hotel. However, apart of the receptionist, I recommend the Epico Recoleta Hotel and we will stay there again.

Hotel OK for the price, although there was a hidden VAT that had to be paid upon arrival.
The breakfast is quite disappointing. Everything is over-wrapped in plastic as if we were in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. Not many options and the food is quite bland. The room was clean enough.

I stayed in a room in front of the elevator. The elevator has 2 doors that must be manually shut. Everytime somebody shut the door it sounded like somebody was slamming my room door. I could not sleep.

Obviously, the area is a great starting point to discover the city with many things nearby and good connections to the rest of the city.

The room was a tiny box, extremely small. When we walked into our room for the first time and put the light on their was a cockroach on the wall above the bed, totally disgusting! When we left our room each day housekeeping would shut off the air conditioner and open the windows to let in the hot humid air, it was a sauna every time we came back to our room. The front desk was not friendly at all. I would never stay there again!

Hotel was clean and comfortable but I am pretty sure I was charged extra VAT when I shouldnt have but I dont know the policy well enough. Reception was slow but did the job. Location was fantastic in a really nice part of Buenos Aires.

Everything was fine except breakfast...the staff who work in the breakfast café really need to work on their serving etiquette.
Example 1: Told us there was no orange juice left but was serving to all other customers?? Not a linguistic barrier as I was speaking in Spanish
Example 2: Gives the wrong coffee to the customer next to us (supposed to be ours) who takes a sip from it then she sneakily goes over to the customer gives him the correct coffee and then takes the other coffee over to the bar and puts it on the tray about to give to us! Luckily, I spotted it and told her to replace but not even an apology?!
Sort out your breakfast staff Epico...you really could be EPIC then!

My stay was wonderful!!! I really CANNOT complain about the services... However the only issue I ready had to deal with was the INTERNET connection... I dont know whether it was a room location problem (mine was room 404) or a generalized issue...

The most disapointing aspect was the breakfast which was quite limited. The hotel is well located, close to many interesting sites.

The stay was OK. Clean but nothing more than promised. The room was quite small, though it is what you can expect at the price. It is reasonable value for money, good if you are going to be there just to sleep.

The Staff were always nice hand helpful. Hotel is 2 blocks from the subway in a very good neighborhood, there are a lot of places to eat nearby. Breakfast could be better, but it's not bad.
