We had a good two night stay and the facility including the bedroom was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of towels but no towel racks. The room we had had two table chairs but we would have appreciated a comfortable arm chair. The breakfast area was clean and well serviced. The choices were pretty basic. We did feel the front desk service was not always well staffed and helpful. We felt the facility could use a little more updating but we thought it was a good place and very reasonably priced. We would consider staying again if we were in the area.

I was under $80 per night at this place and had low expectations from it. Was pleasantly surprised when we got there. Staff were friendly checking us in, nice lobby area, decent vending options if you’re hangry, nice sized dining area, and an elevator that works well enough. Getting in the room I could tell it was an older hotel that had been remodeled in recent years. Telltale sign were the wear marks on the door from the manual clasp. Everything in the room was nice and functional. Two clean beds (yes, we checked for bedbugs and found no signs), two chairs, small table, dresser with decent television. Beds were cozy with four pillows each. Lights and outlets in easy reach. Bathroom had plenty of room with a large mirror. Shower had really good pressure and hot water came up quick. Breakfast area was kept well-stocked. Not too many selections but generally what you’d expect from a continental breakfast: breads, eggs, protein (sausage patties), cereal, yogurt, waffles, and juice. Eggs were not rubbery as I expected and were decent for something that had been heated up and not freshly cooked. Same could be said for the sausage. Toaster may be the only “downside” to breakfast as it took forever and only warmed it up. We stayed here visiting family so we didn’t stay in the hotel room for long. Just long enough to watch some tv before going to sleep. I couldn’t say how the place is otherwise but for us it was very comfortable and we will likely stay here again in the future!

This was just a quick overnight trip. The room was dated and the carpet in the room smelled rough. The beds were very small and lumpy. The breakfast was really good and the staff was so friendly. The halls smelled so bad of marijuana, though! They advertise a non-smoking hotel but guests were obviously smoking marijuana in their rooms.

Our stay in the hotel was great, the bed, the sheets and pillows were all comfy. The room was good and quiet and breakfast served was good 😊

Check in was graat. The guy was really nice at the front desk. We lost power at our house so it was convenient and reasonably priced.

Not much staff available. No one around to check out and garbage bag left in elevator.

I stay here everytime I'm visiting Detroit

If price is your main concern and you MUST stay in this general area, the hotel is adequate. However, keep your expectations low: THE GOOD - Good location, convenient to I-696 THE DECENT - Lobby is clean and reception staff are helpful and nice THE BAD - First time I opened my closet, a small cockroach skittered away into the darkness. The shower nozzle stayed water across the bathroom, the shower tub was made of plastic and creaked and groaned as I moved. At least one bug crawled across me as I was lying in bed. ---------- This hotel will not be on my list for the future.
