Welcoming from start to finish and the breakfasts are the best and hottest ever had

Felt welcome nothing to much trouble the proprietors engaged with all guests would recommend to anyone will def stay again

The Welcome, The Central Location, The Breakfast Where All Perfection....

The choices on offer from the traditional to the unusual (for breakfast) where all there. And the taste was delicious.

The stairs! Being unfit and on the top floor was a killer, for me, but the far reaching views made up for it.

Exceptional hotel

The most amazing hotel, customer service and food. Had a truly wonderful stay here. The hotel decor was stunning and luxurious. Furnished beautifully throughout. The hotel was so clean and maintained to such a high level. The customer service was exceptional. Professional, friendly and all the staff went the extra mile to make each of their customers feel special. Some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. The food was just amazing. The dinner in the restaurant was absolutely fantastic and the breakfast the best I’ve ever eaten in a hotel. The quality, presentation was second to none. I cannot fault this hotel in any way. Every aspect was exceptional, in particular the service. We shall certainly be back. Thank you.

Excellent stay in small boutique hotel by the beach

Spacious and clean rooms. Great view of the beach from the superior room with sea view. Breakfast was a highlight - it was excellent and very fresh. Would highly recommend

Shower could have been more powerful. My room was on the top floor and there was no lift so be weary of this if you have mobility issues !

A lovely hotel, would stay again.

We opted for a light “cereal and toast” breakfast nothing cooked but we were served promptly and offered refills etc.

The heated towel rail in our bathroom we were pre-warned had a minor leak but couldn't be repaired as it was the weekend but it was no bother. Room was great, warm, comfortable , sea view. The occupants of the room directly above were the only problem - heavy footed constantly from 6am. On a Sunday! ☹️

Ideal location , clean tidy and great breakfast

Excellent location opposite pier . Parking on road a short walk away . No food saved on a Sunday evening but restaurants adjacent were open. Lovely staff and breakfast was terrific

Lovely boutique hotel.

Breakfast was top notch in a lovely restaurant. Excellent breakfast menu. If in the area definitely recommend.

We didnt know if they did casual dining. Private dining very special and going by breakfast I expect it would be very good, but as on a business budget it was an upmarket venue.

First class hotel. I will definitely stay there again

Excellent from start to finish. Staff were second to none. Nice atmosphere. Room was spotless and warm. The food in the restaurant was also of a high quality would definitely recommend Hotel Ocean.

A gem of a hotel! It felt like I was in London, smart, clean, comfy and beautiful food in their restaurant.

First class facilities for customer comfort be it to room accommodation, on premises dining, staff attention and assistance to guest requests or needs. Breakfast and dinner service is five star.

Breakfast was awesome :-) Staff very good

We came in mid Oct - eve's are cold. As the room was right at the top, it was very cold. Heating was not available until requested. (and not available in the morning.)

Exceptional stay

The staff were very considerate and attentive to my specific needs. I have mobility issues,and I needed help with my luggage.The breakfast was wonderful,and I ate in the restaurant on a number of occasions in the evening, which I thoroughly enjoyed too.A most wonderful stay.Thank you so much. (Written on behalf of my mother,who stayed at the Hotel Ocean for 4 nights, and enjoyed it immensely)

Daniel made us feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival whilst our luggage was taken up to our room. The hotel is beautiful & very clean. Staff are friendly.

Hotel was superb. The Suite was beautiful with stunning sea views. Breakfast was very good. We also had a meal at there cafe which was also very good. Staff were great and very friendly, we were met with a free drink which was nice. Will definitely stay here again. Definitely the best place to stay in Great Yarmouth.

Excellent Hotel in central Great Yarmouth

All the staff were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and choice very good and high quality. Evening meal downstairs was superb - Dover Sole the best!

The hotel itself is great and doing a grand job but Great Yarmouth as a resort is not for us!

Simply the best

This hotel is just brilliant, great decor, first class comfortable bedrooms, fabulous reception and bar area, the food was second to none and plenty of it and finally the staff were absolutely brilliant they just couldn't do enough for you, amazing thankyou so much for a fantastic and so memorable stay 😀 😊 👍.

Don't hesitate to book here 5* experience

Wow I don't think I've ever given 10/10 to any hotel before. We both loved it from check in to check out. Welcome was.amazing with luggage carried from car to room and welcome drinks. Restaurant food was top quality and presented like a 5 star restaurant, breakfast also amazing and as much as you wanted. The room was lovely and spotless. Staff were an absolute credit 👏 everything you could want in a hotel and more for a very good price.

Having to leave. Seriously there is nothing not to like.
