Love the hotel nice building

The hotel was lovely and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The manager was very accommodating of my late arrival.
I could see my car from my window.
The top of the headboard was very dusty, but this was a minor point. The room was very good value for my overnight stay.

Close to all amenities 5 minutes walk The beach is Wright opposite the Hotel. The bed was very comfortable, nice hot shower. Could park on the side road. This was the 2nd time I stayed in the Gable end hotel, and I will do it again.
You get what you pay for it was good value.

Room was really, clean, the owners are new so there is a few things they could have had in bathroom like handwash, and may be some hooks to hang towels up, whilst your in shower.
But considering they have only been there a couple of months, everything is a learning curve.
But we were happy beds were clean and comfy.
All the towels that were provided more than enough all clean.
Breakfast which was full english., was really lovey and served to the time we requested.
They had all that was needed orange juice cereal, jams butter etc.
There was nothing I disliked.

Right on the seafront and has lots of character. The rooms were very basic but offered a nice view of the beach. Host was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know.
Beds were uncomfortable. Bathroom very small and quite dirty in places.

From the start we were welcomed by very friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. And it was a very nice place to stay.
Nothing against the hotel. It was my fault for not checking location but it was a little too far out for me to walk. Quite a walk into the main town.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was good value for money and good location near the pier and beach.
Limited breakfast and furniture was noisy when moved with loud people above.

We stayed at the very top floor in a lovely double room with a sea view. The room was a nice and warm. The bathroom was a good size,And everything was clean. Breakfast was nice. It's a hotel that is over a hundred years old and it is very charming and lots of character. We loved parking was easy for us,Just to the side of the main street,And alongside the hotel.
Bar area was not in use but then it's still quite early in the year.
4.5
location, parking on site and the owner was happy to accommodate a last minute booking for breakfast for five people in the morning
it was a little tired in places and the shower was pretty bad (water pressure wise) but perfectly adequate for one nights stay.

It’s clean, comfortable, good value and the staff really are exceptionally helpful.
It’s slightly dated but personally I can’t say that’s a reason for me not to like it!

easy to book very clean hotel
the power shower was like a sand blaster needs a bigger head to stop water been forced out too fast I did speak to the manager before I left and advised her to get a bigger shower head

Very good breakfast. Lovely friendly host. Clean room
The room was lovely and clean but just looked like it was in mid decorating. It looked like someone had started painting the top of the room but forgot to finish.

The location for where we needed to be the next day was good. We were a bit later arriving and the lady was there for us when we arrived and she was very pleasant. The breakfast was very good and plentiful.
The building looks very tired, the decor was dark and not very welcoming. We had a lovely sized room but it needed a good clean there was sticky fingerprints all over the units and cupboards. There was no cups for the tea and coffee but i used my travel mug. Lots of little niggles but it wasn't worth the money.
