Quite a few staff problems. 15 min wait at check in. Tap in bathroom out if service.

The bed was so comfortable and I had the best night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel, and I've stayed in a lot of hotels. The full English breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. The view from our room was fabulous. I was also pleased to find many power points, including two by the bed that incorporated USB charging ports.
The room needed more furniture - a wardrobe, a dressing table/desk and two comfy chairs would improve the comfort of the room immensely, and there is space for it in the room where we stayed. There was a hanging rail for clothes and there was a table and chair where I used my laptop, but the suggested additions would push the room up a notch in terms of useability and comfort.

The food and the accommodation were fine and the location ideal for the area I intended to explore. The view towards the Malverns was superb, though this was somewhat negated by the poor weather.

Just off the Cotswolds way, convenient for what we wanted. Friendly staff.
Could benefit from few repairs, broken mirror, broken blinds. Small things but all looks worn.

Good hillside location. A number of the staff were kind and helpful.
Room was like a run-down hostel room, with old carpet and drab utilitarian furnishings. The bathroom was updated, however. Tables on the veranda were grubby.

We liked the location. Food was good and served quickly at the pub/restaurant also good breakfast.
Room was cold when we arrived and took a long time to have a good temperature. When I mentioned to the staff at checkout she didn't seem to care and didn't really offered anything as a small compensation either.
Also.room was a decent size but carpet was not particularly cleaning.

Beautiful setting with amazing views. The rooms were warm, and the shower was piping hot. The menu and food were beyond expectations. We will definitely visit again.

Ease of access and good parking.
slightly jaded and first room had a window that couldn’t be closed with scaffolding outside. However the receptionist was very helpful and found another room.
meals we’re good and reasonably priced.

lovely views of the area. spacious room.
bar area tables dirty and sticky . Ice machine broken the whole time we were there no ice available for drinks. unsure why they could not have bought some in from a supermarket . Breakfast between 7-9 rather early when on holiday.
5.0 / 10.0
it’s location and the fact it had an adjoining restaurant
the staff are all too young and not trained enough (restaurant staff especially). customer service was very poor. e.g. I’d be sat at breakfast and waited 30 mins to be asked about a tea or coffee. she’d take my order and come back 20 mins later to take my food order. everything was one thing at a time.
