The building and bedroom was beautiful and had everything we needed

The pub is a recent newbuild but you would never know it once inside-such clever internal furniture and design/decorations.
Very friendly hosts and very helpful happy staff.
Fab food and a good reasonable wine list.
Bedrooms exceptional and all at a great price.
Nothing all good.

The room and bathroom are excellent.
We made a HUGE mistake booking the Limetree Inn. It's our fault and we can't blame the Inn. On Sundays there is no evening bar and no kitchen for food so please don't make the mistake of staying here on a Sunday night. We paid a significant premium for a bed for the night and unfortunately we do regret staying here. We loved it the first time but our time staying here has now come to an end.

Location was excellent, a nice quiet road but east to get to. We stayed as we had a booking at the winery not too far away which was a great day out. We had an evening meal from the bistro menu which was delicious and the breakfast was also great. Room was spacious and comfortable. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Everything exceeded our expectations.

The Lime Tree Inn is absolutely exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could not fault a single thing. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean, the staff very welcoming and friendly, and the food utterly amazing! We will definitely be back again and recommending it to our family and friends.

The Lime Tree is located in a lovely village. Modern purpose built inn but in keeping with its surroundings.
Staff were very helpful and professional when dealing with customers. Having homemade produce on the menu
improved the dining experience.
it would have been helpful to have the fob system for the front door pointed out when we booked in.
Signage to the Lime Tree could be improved but the owners are aware and are working on a solution.

rooms are spotless, spacious and lovely.
you could have a party in the bathroom it’s so big.
nice bar with a good beer selection and wine at a reasonable price too.
the food is amazing - fantastic evening meal and breakfast didn’t disappoint especially with so much home produced food.
nothing really to complain about, the bed was a bit soft for our liking but that’s about it.
4.7
The accessible room was well thought out and really worked well. There was no shower chair or shelves in the cupboard but otherwise the room was one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in.
As we stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night we didn’t get a cooked breakfast or dinner but we were warned in advance.
There was nowhere to sit as a group other then in the bedrooms as the bar area was locked and it was too cold outside.

Beautiful rooms with super comfy beds!
Delicious breakfast!
Wonderful staff!

Great b&b, very modern decor but keeping with the country pub vibe. Room was spacious considering it was a loft room, bed was comfy. Nespresso coffee machine was great addition, as well as homemade biscuits.
we ate on site at the restaurant and the meal was fantastic (both said worth the money). Breakfast was also great in the morning.
staff were all really helpful and friendly throughout.
Nothing much nearby (walkable) but taxi was easy to book.
Bathroom had a weird smell (like damp or pipes) - wasn’t massively inconveniencing for us and couldn’t smell from the room if door was shut.
Room got a little warm at times being in the loft, but had a fan and velux windows to open.
Would have preferred a mini fridge in room for convenience.

Excellent
Communication about the room . How things worked like the towel rail. Towel policy. The room was poorly designed, no room to stand up in the bathroom and no outside views unless you were 6ft 6 tall.

Brilliant newly built pub with beautifully appointed bedrooms and bath/shower rooms and food of the highest quality.

Home made bread, home made butter, marmalade, sauces, excellent .
I brought my granddaughter as a special treat for the weekend. She doesn’t have gluten in her diet and I was a bit concerned as to what she would eat, but no need to worry as a special menu was made for her and she really enjoyed it.
Thank you to all ….
I would have liked a shelf in the Willow bathroom

Exceptional in every respect.
Rooms lovely, dinner in the restaurant was amazing and breakfast also excellent.
Staff are friendly and welcoming and the service is efficient. Nice little touches like fresh milk provided in the morning for the nespresso machine.
Hard to find anything to comment on. If you’re staying during the week the building works across the road might be a factor.

Great stopover place when travelling north/south on the A1, located in a quiet village not far from A1. Lovely room, very good room facilities.

Superb getaway and a gem of a find, rooms are tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, car park with electric charging point. The staff are so helpful with nothing being a problem to them. Food is a very high standard with locally sourced meats, home grown vegetables and herbs. Breakfast is the best we have had. Plenty of homemade produce (the bread is particularly good), also a good range of choice on the evening menu which is changed regularly during the seasons. Excellent selection of drinks and a wine menu with something for all tastes. Very friendly atmosphere.
No issues at all and we look forward to going back again in the near future.
