The price is very good given the quality. Jacky is the best manager anywhere. Dong and Rachel are great. Jessica, the server at breakfast, is a jewel. Several of the doormen were great too, but I forgot the names (apologies). I will always remember the excellent service here and the lovely staff. The hotel is in an excellent location near the Old Quarter, where there are lots of restaurants and things to do. Jacky set up several excellent excursions for us, like a street-food tour, a boat ride to Halong Bay and the caves nearby, and the day tour of Hanoi. Overall, the trip was a success.

Hanoi is difficult to navigate without a SIM card, so I recommend that visitors get one. Not all of the rooms are ideal. At first we had a smll room on the ninth floor, and there was construction going on, but they switched us to a front room facing the street on the sixth floor. The back rooms are smaller. I appreciated that they were accomodating when we complained.

Le séjour était tout simplement parfait. Nous avons été accueilli et traité comme des rois. Le personnel est tout simplement adorable et à toujours été au petit soin. Nous avons également été surclassé au cour de notre séjour, la chambre est magnifique et a toujours été propre. Un grand merci notamment à Jacky et Huy qui nous ont toujours conseillé et aider pendant notre séjour. Également un grand merci au personnel de restauration qui était toujours présent pour nous orienter.

La chambre était laide , une très mauvaise insonorisation, le lit était dur, la chambre était plus petite que la taille dans la description de plusieurs mètres carré, le petit déjeuner n’était pas à mon goût, un employé qui vous fait perdre votre temps à vous proposez des choses dont vous n’avez pas besoin et qui se montre insistant ( excursions, limousine, etc). Bref, je ne le recommande pas.

Hotel muy bien situado. El personal ha sido muy atento y nos ayudado en todo y en especial Tony que nos ha echo sentir como en casa, un gran profesional, igual que el resto del equipo.

Podría decir que como están remodelándolo no hemos podido usar la piscina. Pero en cambio la habitación es muy completa y cómoda.

We had a connecting room with my parents, their shower was leaking and half of the bathroom floor was wet. Hasn't been fixed during the 3 nights we were there and reporting it. In our room was a bathtub, that was made of plastic and almost fell over when I stepped out - this can be quite dangerous. As it was only the bathtub and not properly built in, the water from the shower got underneath the bathtub, even when being careful. The aircon in our parents room didn't work really well. The safe in the wardrobe wasn't fixed so anyone could just take the whole safe if they wanted to. The pool didn't look very inviting, there was no movement in the water so it looked like it was sitting still for a while already, didn't look clean.

Tired and run down compared to photos. Wifi was patchy and slow. Breakfast had a few options, bread was stale some days and things not replenished e.g. Coffee and Juice. The room smelt like a chainsmoker had just checked out recently. Bathroom could do with some bleach and a good scrub around the edges. Shower curtain needs replacing as it had mold + frayed edges.

Staff great. Pool good now it is covered and doesnt get hot. Maybe make the room fridges a bit colder. Air conditioning great

Location is perfect in the city center with entertainment district within 5 min walking distance. The breakfast was good but I would like to strongly suggest some continental or American options. Rooms are perfect size, clean and the bed/blanket/cushion and toileteries are clean and fresh. The views from the skybar are amazing

Need more breakfast options and especially vegetarian. Wifi is a bit sketchy and needs to be improved.

A little tired

Got a great upgrade thanks to my genius 3 level. Room spacious, bed comfy king, bathroom stylish, with good waterfall shower and bath. Hotel front desk staff helpful and friendly. Located in a busy part of Old Town, so good if want to shop, go to restaurants and the large lake nearby.

Traffic noise, as with Nha Trang the Vietnamese love their car/truck horns. These start around 05.30 and continue until about 02.00. Motor bikes/scooters block all the pavements and frequently come riding straight at you on pavements and through red lights in this area. My shower temperature control was stuck on max heat. Took several requests to get fixed. My AC was set to not go below 25C, not good. Took several requests to get fixed. Room literature had extensive restaurant/room service menu. I like to use latter in evening, but found restaurant only open for breakfast. Ate at Orlana restaurant next door, and coffee club near lake(full, good menu despite name) Nothing hotel could do about it but I did not see the sun for even 1 minute in my 10 day stay in April, so did not use the pool. Gym has treadmill etc but no free weights, resistance gear which I use, so did not use that either.

Excellent location near the lake and the street markets, the breakfast was very good and plentiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful

ROOM DOWNGRADE! On checking in I was allocated a smaller, less well-equipped room than I paid for. Clerk wouldn't agree at first, but finally gave me a better room. ( it was xmas, so maybe over-booked?). No pool towels all day, despite asking. water in room wasn't hot., only lukewarm.
