The building needs to be remodeled. My wife found a centipede in our room. This hotel one were worst we stayed.

It was very cheap and near the highway. That is literally the only reason we stayed here. This was the last leg of our trip and I was trying to be frugal. I do not recommend doing the same. This was not worth the grime.
This was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. I don't think it was cleaned. Our sheets were covered in hair, and so was the shower. There were smudges on every solid surface. The couch looked like a crime scene. There were nail clippings on the floor. The shampoo and conditioner you usually receive for the shower were both conditioner, and both EMPTY. We changed our sheets after complaining, and those sheets were wrinkled and suspicious, and the comforter had a stain on it that looked like blood. I have never been so uncomfortable in my entire life - I seriously almost slept in my car. The surrounding area was not nice. We avoided the provided breakfast after witnessing the horrors of our room, and we decided to grab food at a drive-thru instead. At the closest fast food restaurant at 6am (we couldn't wait to leave the hotel) we were bothered by a homeless woman.
We are by no means "fancy", but this place was SHOCKING.

Got to the room late (about 1130pm) and bathroom door didn't latch....and tv wouldn't come on and it wasn't the remote batteries because the remote lit up just fine

1 broken bed on the room 225, when I try to informe the reception they didn’t let me explane my situation only told me that because i rented the room with booking it was not their problem, how is possible you have a broken bed and the responsibility is from booking? the cherry on top of the cake was when the manager came to put me out of the hotel telling me she will call the police. incredible, rented some rooms with booking around the world, this was definitely a first.

I liked that they allow my big dogs of course a $25 fee for each dog.
It took me 30-45 minutes of waiting before we got checked in. We were not given a room key because of their system not working correctly. And when we got up to shower the next morning we had no hot water in our shower. When we called the front desk she stated it was likely to them doing laundry. Unacceptable!

The showers were good. The beds were good. The continental breakfast was good. The staff were nice.
There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. The room was not that clean when we arrived. There was nothing in the room to tell us what was in the area.

it was in disrepair. even the exterior of the building was in need of repair. all the upholstered items in our room were dirty. we used the sleeper sofa and when opened the foot of that bed butted up against the side of the other bed.

it took 40 minutes for the front desk to check me in. they had me check in under the wrong person, even charged their card before realizing it wasn’t me. our room had clearly been broken into at some point, the door knob was broken, the framing wasn’t there. room wreaked of cigarette smoke (property is non smoking). toilet did not work. key cards deactivated every day of our stay. manager yelled at me about the card situation, I stay 3 nights but I will never stay at a La Quinta again. terrible.

I had a reservation and they called me at 8:30pm to cancel and I got off work at 10:30pm so I had no hotel to go to. apparently ur reservation doesn’t matter if someone else comes in prior to u checking in

Easy to find.
Was very cold in my room heater unit did not work. Just a bed sheet and very thin bedspread. Slept in my winter coat and jeans. Waited about 10 mins just to check out.

staff and manager exceptional. we encountered a room issue which was promptly resolved after reported. we had an emergency with a pet traveling with us and staff and manager were empathetic and helpful. staff aren’t responsible for owner failures in maintaining the property
