Disappointed with their service , took 3+ calls at night , morning , evening to provide water for my senior parents . They took forever for a simple request.

The staff was generally friendly and accommodating. We had opted for breakfast, which was also very nice and appealing. The only thing we would have preferred differently was if the entire hotel was non-smoking. Although we had a non-smoking room, the hallways were still heavily affected by the smell of smoke from nearby rooms

I asked to upgrade complimentary ,because it is weekdays , but they didn’t accept and they said for upgrade I have to pay 45 dirhams.

It was a good hotel with an excellent breakfast and excellent staff service throughout. Very clean. The only issue I have is that the hotel feels abit dated, not the best facilities otherwise it was a good experience

The hotel is comfortable and well-located, but the staff is very slow: in the bar/restaurant and the relaxation area.
The breakfast buffet is fantastically fresh and varied and opens at 6am for workers. Thank you very much.
The sauna and hammam were cold on the 3 mornings of my stay despite a warning on the first 2 days, I gave up on the 3rd. I bumped into a guy who said "but yesterday afternoon it worked"?! Cool, in that case don't say it's open in the morning! Also: no lights, no towels, no shower gel refills ... in the morning at least, on the women's side.
Only 2 charging stations in the room and only on one side of the bed, so not very practical for the computer and 2 phones.

Staff are not trained properly from fron desk to porters to clean up servise crew.
1- i put dont (disturb sign) yet they knock the door!!!!!!!
2- hotel very very dark! I didnt like it
3- cigarettes smells everywhere!!! Even inside none smoking room, where the spray refresher but it didnt help!
4- I've made a complain about gents smoking indoor inside the restaurant, no one took any action.
5- pool was closed and this was not announced at expedia during booking.
Hope they can work on the above points.

My stay was good . I think you should get new memory foam mattresses instead of the old one that is currently in my room, but I loved the shower and tub. I was disappointed that there was no microwave.

Excellent friendly service, nice spacious room with both bathtub and shower and overall amazing value for money. Cannot rate the breakfast as had room only rate due to flight timings.

Average hotel, sheets and clean, mattress was average. Lights flickering in the toilet, I complained they fixed it but other light started flickering. No iron in the room and limited electric outlets

The hotel is passable, but I found it quite inconvenient overall. Specifically, the bathroom setup, shower, and room lighting were all problematic. After staying for two nights, I must say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience.

The staff we very kind and probided the best service, the rooms are spacious and clean. I will definitely stay at Southern Sun again. Also getting a taxi was very easy.
