Hotel is located right by the airport and surrounding sports stadiums. We picked it due to it's proximity to the light rail. That was also it's downfall. Make sure you get a room far away from the road as the train comes every 10 minutes even overnight. That kept us up all night and woke us up real early in the morning. Id stay there again but just make sure to get a room at the back.

Very comfortable room and bed and good breakfast. However the light in the bedroom was minimal…weak bedside lights and no ceiling light. Reading a real book (compared to a kindle) in bed is a no-go. Also no dinner options in walking distance other than a mediocre Denny’s.

We've stayed at this hotel many times and the service and quality of the rooms has always been excellent. This trip there was just one problem. The elevator was not working properly the entire time we stayed at the hotel. It would get stuck or go to the wrong floor.

Since I had a short overnight stay, I did not take advantage of restaurants and other activities and can't comment very much. However, the room and bed was very nice and comfortable and staff were efficient and pleasant.

The manager Fedan treated us so well. We were there for a 5 night stay to rest after chemotherapy. We had an issue the first night and Fedan took care of us and handled the situation beautifully showing great care and concern for guests in his hotel. We will definitely be back!

The first room they gave us when we checked in was a room with an adjoining door. We could see light around the door coming from the other room and the family next door was quite loud. We could plainly hear their voices and it sounded like they were in the room with us. We were going to be so my husband went to the front desk and told them about the situation and they moved us to another room.

Clean, modern, great amenities, terrific price! Dont count on the breakfast being incredible—but its complimentary, so what would you expect?

We had bed bugs in our hotel room and found them the night before checking out! We had never had this kind of nightmare experience and hotel management let us know they did not know how to handle this. They initially told us that Hotels.com was responsible for handling this as we paid you directly then were told a manager would contact us and though hotel relations has taken our information down at least on two occasions over this situation and has told us they would have them contact us, this has not happened. This has been traumatic and costly for us. I have lost sleep, clothing, personal items, toiletries, purchased gifts and have had to pay more than $70.00 in purchasing insecticides and things are STILL not resolved.

It was a nice, clean hotel. The staff was not overly friendly though. They did their job but didn't go out of their way to ensure exceptional customer service.

Location, clean, breakfast included

We decided to try this one out since we usually stay at that Hampton across the way. Not a bad place to stay but there were some obvious differences. 1. Both Hampton and holiday inn express (HIE) have indoor pools however I believe only HIE has a heated one. 2. Both have free breakfast HIE has a pancake machine option whereas Hampton has a waffle maker. I personally think Hamptons breakfast is the winner. They also aside from the waffle maker have small cheese taco shaped omelets and seem cleaner with a bigger space for dinning. 3. HIE has cloud like beds which are great if that is what you like. When i say cloud like, I'm referring to how soft it is. Hampton beds are a little more sturdy. 4 sadly unfortunately we stayed in room 320 and the top killer for HIE was the cleanliness. The floor did not seemed vacuumed and they had an ant problem in the bathroom. If I have to choose between both, I’m personally going with Hampton, but there are some perks to HIE if the cleanliness is taken care of they have some nice room layouts and a few other things in room. As for this last stay, Hampton is the place to go out of the two for me 👍

Clean, close to SJC airport

Overall our experience was great. Location was great for our events, breakfast was different each, weekday breakfasts were better than weekend offerings, could be due to volume of guests. The only negative experience we had was our second last night, our son got sick in the middle of the night. I called the front desk for help and was told no one could help us and the person said good night and hung up. We had an event that morning so on the way out I asked the person at the front desk if someone could tend to our room in the morning and we would be back at noon. He said the housekeeping staff staryed at 7am and he would let them know. When we returned at noon, no one had came to our room, again we went to the front desk where the post it from 6am was sitting in the monitor. We had to wait until 2pm to get new bedding.

The hotel is out of electricity, waited 1hr to check in. Then the elevator is not working, and they assigned our room on 5th floor which is highest. No one offer help to carry luggage up, my wife have disability, and she had to took the stairs up and down. When my wife spoke to the GM, he never offered to change the room until my wife requested, he refused to provide room with 2 queen beds, we are already arty of 4, instead he was blaming to the Electricity company’s fault, he was hostile and bad attitudes, it took about 5-6 hours for the elevator to work, and we decided to stay back at the room. Meanwhile, the GM did not offered any helps for disabilities guests, either take it or leave it.

Overall stay was pleasant. I do need to point out the face that I had called for extra towels, and he told me to go get them. I asked if he could bring them to the room because i was having back pain. He brought me HAND towels when i asked for bath towels. When i called back to let them know, he was rude and hung up, then brought them. The morning of check out, the cleaning lady walked in twice and it wasn't even time to check out yet. Overall customer service was not good. The room and cleaniless was superb

There were ants at the pool and the breakfast had many items missing and did not have replacement items when asked. Also to note this was at the beginning time of the breakfast provided

Everything was good, except for the not working elevator! Had to take the stairs to go down which lead us to the outside of the hotel! But was fixed by the next morning when we checked out!

Great area, perfect for one night. Elevators didn’t work when we stayed. Pool was very clean. Had to pay $10 for parking.

Sliding glass shower door was broken/stuck. Hot water wasn’t that hot when showering at night. Was better in the morning. Kids screaming. Since I booked the room on Expedia they wouldn’t give me any money back on the room. If I would have paid directly through them and not Expedia they would have discounted the room. Manager did waive my parking fee and my candy bar I charged to my room.

I chose this location for convenience to get to an early flight. Free shuttle was advertised and not available. Paid an extra 45 dollars to get 2 miles to the airport. Also, they put me on 5th floor with broken elevator.

I liked that the hotel was clean and safe. Ome elevator was broken and took a long time to get to room.
