The room was very clean and the room was great for us. Comfortable bed and the service and breakfast was filling. The Courtyard Guest House was great not far to walk to the sea front and restaurants

Fantastic stay. Room was great - well equipped, comfortable, well decorated and clean. Service was fantastic too - incredibly friendly, welcoming, helpful, and also incredibly accommodating to this vegan. All for an excellent price. 10/10 across the board.

We stayed at The Courtyard Guest House for a long weekend at beginning of June 2019 in a family room. Room was spacious and clean with generous condiments, there was fridge and kettle. Breakfast is cooked to order and owner are very flexible with modifications, food was delicious made with local products. Owners are lovely and very helpful. There is on the street parking, ask owner for a free permit. Thank you for making our stay pleasant! Highly recommend The Courtyard Guest House :)

The room was spacious and clean, the hosts very welcoming and the location perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone. We had the top room with the balcony, which I’d particularly recommend.

We had a family room at the courtyard which was tastefully decorated and good facilities including small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and even some delicious biscuits, hot chocolate, water and squash. WiFi was free but not that great. Bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean as was the entire room. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a selection of cereal, fruit, toast and jams and cooked breakfast options which appeared to be good quality and well cooked. Overall, for the price bracket this guest house is excellent value for money and we would return without hesitation.

Also, we really appreciated having a DVD player in the room, with a selection of films in the lobby. Nice idea!

Friendly and professional welcome on arrival. All information imparted in a straight forward manner. Ideally located to access both sea front and town centre. Parking is by permit provided by proprietors.

Owners very accommodating, reasonable price. Great for a one night stay, sea view was nice. Only problem was the noise of vehicles passing by at night, stopped around 11.

We stayed here just after the Easter weekend, and could not have had a better place to stay. The owners are really friendly and helpful and are providing excellent accommodation. The room we had was on the top floor and was a room we would love to have as our own bedroom at home. The whole hotel is tastefully furnished and decorated and our sea view was just that, no leaning over the balcony risking life and limb!! We will be returning and would not hesitate to recommend the Courtyard Hotel to everyone.

We stayed in a family room for 4 people. The room was a good size and weĺl set out. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious. Everywhere was spotlessley clean. The breakfast was to die for. Would definitely recommend to others and will return ourselves. The owners are lovely friendly people.
